We are expanding our team! Currently, we are seeking a full time Estimator/Purchaser to join our Merit Homes family. The ideal candidate would have a minimum of 2-4 years related experience, the ability to produce material takeoffs, the ability to read blue prints, field drawings and plans, and effective communication skills!
The Job Responsibilities will include:
“The Construction Estimator/Purchasing Agent will be responsible for estimating and procurement of construction materials and services in accordance with project requirements and project schedules. The Construction Estimator/Purchasing Agent will work with the project team to ensure all materials arrive to the project in the correct quantities and as scheduled. As a valued and key member of the team, the Construction Estimator/Purchasing Agent will perform other duties as required and/or desired to assist the rest of the team during all phases of development including initial project feasibility through completion of each home. This position has endless potential and can lead into a growing construction management related career with our Team.”
