For over 20 years, this fundraiser has been a community favorite, bringing together approximately 1,000 riders each year. This year the [Kirkland Kiwanis](https://k03048.site.kiwanis.org/7-hills/#event-details) will be sponsoring the 7 Hills of Kirkland road bike ride, taking over for Attain Housing. Proceeds from the ride provide housing and services to the Eastside’s neighbors in need thanks to efforts from Kirkland Kiwanis and Attain Housing. **LONGSTANDING SUPPORT ** Merit Homes is thrilled to partner with both of these organizations as a sponsor of this event this year, and our very own President and Owner, Josh Lysen, will be participating in the 38 mile ride. We’ve been honored to previously sponsor the 2017 and 2018 rides, have been longtime friends of Attain Housing and their endeavors in our community. From homesite cleanup to serving lasagna in the past, we welcome the opportunity to reinforce Attain’s efforts and vision. ![ride-for-a-cause-join-merit-homes-at-the-7-hills-of-kirkland-charity-bike-ride-2](https://www.merithomesinc.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Merit%20Homes%202024/Images/ride-for-a-cause-join-merit-homes-at-the-7-hills-of-kirkland-charity-bike-ride-2.png?width=636&height=534&name=ride-for-a-cause-join-merit-homes-at-the-7-hills-of-kirkland-charity-bike-ride-2.png) “It’s important for us to give back to the community we live and work in and to have a connection to people from all walks of life,” Josh said. “We heard about Attain through the Kirkland Chamber of Commerce, and we started making donations at their events like the 7 Hills of Kirkland, and then we got into serving meals at Community Supper. **GET INVOLVED! ** There are many ways to get involved, whether you want to register a rider, become a sponsor, donate, or volunteer at the event. All efforts from our community make a difference, no matter the size. Be sure to stop by our Merit Homes booth at the finish line and say hi to our team! **THE DETAILS ** - **Registration: Now Open!
